The EU project had a rocky start, and selecting characters was
one of the bumps. There never was a true "who would you like to
see in an expansion" query, so the characters that made the final
cut weren't necessarily the best choices. They were, however, the
best choices at the time. These decks were developed for the EU,
but for one reason or another were cut from the final project.

| Toward the end of the project, Asajj
and Durge were merged into one deck, to better reflect their history
of working together. These two decks have been extensively tested,
and both were approved by the design team prior to the cut. |
Nomi Sunrider

The end of the project found us with an imbalance
between dark and light side decks. We ended up cutting a light
side deck to fix
the problem. We decided on Nomi for several reasons, most prominently
a similar style to Bastilla Shan, poor playablity, and somewhat uncertain
character representation. |
Lumiya, Dark Lady of the Sith

The end of the project found us with an imbalance between dark
and light side decks. One potential solution was to add another
dark sider, and we chose Lumiya to fill that slot. We ended up
not including her and dropping a light side deck, but the resulting
Lumiya is both an interesting and curious deck. |
Captain Fordo

Due to the freeform nature of the project, the
list of characters wasn't set in stone until midway through the
development process.
As a result, this excellent deck depicting ARC trooper Captain
Fordo and his commandos was omitted from the final project. Though
the design was ratified by all involved, the characters were simply
not well known enough to pass final muster. We are therefore pleased
to present the deck here in an attempt to get its designer the
recognition he deserves. Thanks to megaswfan for the great deck. |
