Zhao is an officer in the Fire Nation Military, rising in the ranks to become an Admiral for the siege of the Northern Water Tribe. A Master Firebender, his lack of discipline and control sometimes results in explosive ends. The Yu Yan archers are a covert force Zhao commandeers; they are said to be so accurate that they can pin a fly to a tree from 100 yards without killing it.

x2 I'll Show You Wild Special: Zhao does 4 damage to all opponents' characters he can attack. For each character damaged but not destroyed, choose and discard a card.
x2 Admiral's Privilege Special: Add to play up to 2 Yu Yan archers in any empty spaces adjacent to Zhao. No more than 4 Yu Yan archers can be on the board at any time.
x3 Take Them Alive Special: Turn any character on its side. That character cannot move, attack, or defend. At any time, any player may discard the number of cards equal to the number of Yu Yan archers that can attack this character to stand this character up.
x2 Marching Orders Special: Move all Yu Yan Archers to any empty spaces. No Yu Yan archer may move into a space vacated by another Yu Yan archer as a result of this card.
x3 Flaming Fist A6: After attacking, move Zhao up to 4 spaces.

It's a toss up between Zhao and Suki for my favorite Avatar deck. This is an immensely strategic deck (which is frustrating for me, but also alluring).
I absolutely love Take Them Alive.

A very different Firebending deck, Zhao is another board manipulator that can be frustrating both to control and oppose. Not one of my favorites, but an enjoyable deck nonetheless.
