Excerpted from "A Hunter's Tale," a short story found in Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina:
"I ain't messin' with Solo," said Dyyz. "He's got too many ways of gettin' revenge . . . even after he's dead."
"I can handle him," said Greedo. "He's just a smalltime Corellian spicerunner who thinks he's big stuff. He stole a rancorskin jacket off me. I'll take Solo."
And we all know how well that turned out. Part naivete, part bravado, all confidence, Greedo knows Solo's reputation like everyone else, but he's not impressed upon first meeting the smuggler, and he's certainly not intimidated.
This is that Greedo, the Greedo who is on the verge of becoming a true bounty hunter, of stepping from obscurity to the spotlight of the underworld with a single shot. It's just too bad his aim isn't better.
Special Note: This is the original inception for what I like to call the Flop™ mechanic, well received in the EU's Dash Rendar, where you drop three cards from your draw pile and play them in any order.
